The CW officially announced on Tuesday that it has picked up aBeverly Hills, 90210update for fall, and that original cast member Jennie Garth will appear on the show in a recurring role.

Also starringLori LaughlinandJessica Walter, the drama will air on Tuesdays as a lead-in to the newSurviving the Filthy Rich, which focuses on a young woman who tutors wealthy siblings in Palm Beach (its based on the bookHow to Teach Filthy Rich Girls).
On Wednesdays, the net will follow another edition ofAmericas Next Top Modelwith the new reality showStylista, a mashup ofModelandThe Devil Wears Prada.
The rest of the CWs schedule will remain intact, including new episodes ofEverybody Hates Chris,Supernatural,The Game, andSmallville, and a midseason return of the critically-acclaimed but ratings-starvedReaper.
The CW will also partner with Media Rights Capital to program Sunday nights, but details have yet to be revealed.
And saving the best for last: The new season ofGossip Girl(andOne Tree Hill) begins Sept. 1,as EW.com previously reported.
