The newest cast member for theDear Evan Hansenmovie has, well, been found.
EW has confirmed thatAmandla Stenbergis joining the films cast as one of Evan’s high school classmates.
Stenberg will play Alana, a high schooler whose seemingly cheery disposition hides an inner loneliness.

Stenberg is best known for starring in 2018sThe Hate U Giveand most recently appeared in the Netflix seriesThe Eddy.
