Jafargholi talked to EW about his experience, and how things have changed.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: How are you feeling today, Shaheen?

Im sure youre getting plenty of attention.SHAHEEN JAFARGHOLI:Yeah, kind of.

Its really crazy, because it just basically happened overnight.

And its such an amazing experience to be a part of.

So people coming up to me and congratulating me its really amazing.

Hopefully [theyll] embrace it and [Ill] get something out of it.

Whatever happens, happens, but hopefully it will be good

news.

Well, he seemed to honestly like you this time around.

All three judges gave your performance of Whos Loving You a standing ovation.

What was going through your mind?I stopped thinking.

It was so major.

I couldnt believe what I was seeing.

People are saying youre providing competition for Susan Boyle.

And I think shes talented as well.

Is there anyone else out there that you have your eye on, competition-wise?No.

I just think whoever wins, wins for a reason.

Its an unpredictable competition.

You dont know whats going to happen.

This season, the show has been catching on in the U.S., not just Britain.

Are you glad youre on the show now?I feel really lucky to be a part of it.

And Im grateful for it coming back so good.

I hope it [goes] further and further.

Id like to be famous and going on world tours and be doing everything that a pop star does.

I want to live life.

Whatever happens, happens, but hopefully it will be goodnews.
