He peaces out in a huff.
Korasick pretends to interview Maggie, who had just started her first day at Pac North.
Its all a formality, really, and shes given her old job back.

Teddy will continue to execute the cardio department.
Maggie is put to work immediately.
Theres fluid around Suzannes heart that needs to be relieved.
Suzannes sister assumes Taylor is a guy.
Suzanne begs Maggie to keep her alive so she can help her daughter navigate this precious time.
Maggie smiles through her surgical mask and assures Suzanne, Weve got you.
Glad to see her confidence is back.

he was brought into the hospital and the kiddos were taken to social services.
This infuriates Joey so he tries to leave the hospital with a big bloody spot on his gown.

Joey cant help the siblings if hes dead.
Baileys worried about Joey, but Jo reminds Bailey that his life will be hard, but not hopeless.
There are hopeless patients in the hospital, though.

Riley steps in and begins signing to Suzannes sister.
She tells her that she too has three sisters.
One is a hero, one is the baby, and one is her best friend.
Thats the one she trusts.
So Riley wants the sister to know that she wont find anyone better than her.
When the medications are gone, the disease will start talking.
And thats when she will diagnose Suzanne.
Also, shell save her life.
The sister agrees to stop treatment.
DeLuca finds Riley in the hall and thanks her for her vulnerability.
Riley stops him mid-sentence.
Shes an only child.
