As anybody who’s attendedSan Diego Comic-Concan attest, the annual fan event is the opposite of social distancing.
The convention is supposed to get underway on July 23.
Right now, we hear that SDCC is quietly proceeding as if everything is still on track.

Representatives for the event did not respond to request for comment.
President Trump has suggested he’d like to relax social distancing measures by Easter (April 12).
Medical experts have countered thatsuch a move would prove disastrous.

Ultimately, such decisions are left to state and local officials.
Gavin Newsom said Tuesday.
