NBC’sBye Bye Birdie Live!has been postponed once again.
EW has confirmed reports that theJennifer Lopez-helmed live musicalhas been delayed until 2019 at the earliest.

Lopez currently does double duty for NBC, hosting and producingWorld of Danceand starring inShades of Blue.
The data pipe hopes to stage another live presentation for the 2018 holiday season inBye Bye Birdie’s stead.
Lopez had previously expressed her investment in the show both on and off the stage.
“So I’m excited to take it on as a producer, and as a role.”
Jerry Mitchell and Alex Rudzinski were previouslyannounced as directors, and Harvey Fierstein will update the book for television.
