Batwomanis a sluggish, confused show. Theres no sense that the story is building towards anything. Everything feels unmoored, each scene and twist failing to land in a significant way. The show is improving at a rate that could be best described as a snails pace. It all begins when Alice is caught on camera stealing hunks of flesh from morgues around Gotham. TonightsBatwomanbegins with an unintentionally hilarious scene. A lawyer walks to his car, arguing with someone on the phone about his client. Instead of running away, he just stares. The lawyer finally runs…and heres where it gets kind of funny. He runssoslowly and keeps looking back at the creeping water....
At that point, I was still wary of the newest Arrowverse series. Now that were seven episodes in, unfortunately, my snap judgments have proven to be correct. I think people will be very surprised to see what informed Sophies decision to want to stay. Its important to her now because she wants to protect Kate, says Tandy. Ive gotta tell your dad so he can call off this order for us to take you down. Its definitely a huge bomb to drop on your spouse. Of course, hes going to want to ask more questions. Hes gonna want more answers on anything....
