I love how tonights episode used the backdrop of Crisis to do some really interesting character work with Jennifer. On her way, we get brief check-ins on the seasons standing plotlines. But combined with HBOsWatchmen, it got me thinking about how tempting it might be to follow the logic. The parallels to our own security-surveillance culture should not be lost on anyone. Unfortunately, it starts to blind her to the ASAs own cruelty. Both Jennifer Pierce and her runaway boyfriend Khalil know that their journey cant last forever. Khalil assures her thats okay.
