The weekend proved dramatic even for the folks left back home, the Thompsons and Deckers. First, Janet did manage to tell Tom to back off, and he took it like a gentleman. Roger and Susan did spend much of the weekend on the phone; she clearly missed him, too. (Did teenage girls ever get excited about mopey Jackson Browne?) Im still puzzled by whats going on with Rick. He picked a fight with B....

I think its fair to say a fun night was had by all! We also discovered some hugely talented dancers, which of course was the real reason we were there. There was definitely some Top 20 potential!...
All I can say is, I love that woman! I have never met someone more full of life and infectious energy. Weve had a couple of crazy nights out with the production team, cast, crew, and Prince. Yes, I mean Prince! We held the L.A. auditions for season 6 this week. Lots of amazingly talented dancers and some familiar faces. Evans brother Ryan came back and auditioned again. He did an incredible dance and poetry piece truly unique....
We flew straight to Phoenix after last Thursdays show for the season six auditions, en famille. We landed into the desert heat, all 109 degrees of it, slightly dazed and confused. We met an amazing deaf girl named Alison, who could feel the bass line of the music. She did a wonderful audition, then moved onto the choreography round with Anya and Pasha. She doesnt take it for granted Alison was truly magnificent!...
