Except we’re not sure it’s the truth.

Especially not after he went on about his plan and how it would all be okay.

And ESPECIALLY not after he decided to write his book about his experience at Stonewall.

Could Jugs murder just be the plot of his book?

Monday

If Archie has any talent aside from… Also enjoying some coffee is Hiram Lodge, well, at least until he drops it.

I mean, whats he going to do, stop her?

Hes a teenage boy whos already not going to graduate, so hes got nothing to lose.

And by enjoy, she means have sex every chance they get!

Over at Stonewall Prep, Jughead is kicked out of Quill and Skull.

March 15 is THIS FRIDAY!

So it hasnt happened yet but theyre punishing him for it?!

Monday then ends with Hiram showing up at the community center looking to train away his weakness.

So this will go well.

Tuesday

Jug gets to writing!

(Do you think he could getJake Gyllenhaalto play Jarhead in his film adaptation?)

He has until Friday, the Ides of March, before he goes in front of the disciplinary committee.

They already know theyre lying, Betty.

you could do better.

Well, sort of.

So perhaps the biggest twist of this story is that Jug sucks at reading?

No wonder the kids in this town are insane).

Tuesday ends when Archie confronts Veronica on her horny behavior and she tells him Hiram is dying.

Get Hiram fired up.

So… piss him off?

The Ides of March (so… Friday)

My apologies to Wednesday and Thursday.

Apparently they were boring.

And so, at the hearing, Jug agrees to leave Stonewall Prep, no questions asked.

Unless that question is: Want to come to a party?

Then he tells her he loves her before they kiss… one last time.

And heres where he tells her, Ronnie, I wont be able to walk with everyone at graduation.

And Veronica is on board.

But just as he follows Bret, Betty follows Donna.

Alone with Betty, Donna reveals that shes done some investigating of her own.

It seems she paid Evelyn Evernever a visit and learned the magic word.

No, shes not talking about tangerine said three times.

Shes talking about the word that makes Betty go into a fugue state and hurt people she loves.

SO PLUG YOUR EARS, BETTY!

(Spoiler: She doesnt.)

Cut to Varchie returning from the woods to find Betty holding a rock over Jugheads dead body.

Just like that, the core four have been bested by the stuck-up four.

Like I said, Im still not convinced that Jug is dead.

This episode, however, was better than the last few.
