For fans ofParks and Recreation, Amy Poehler and Adam Scott are televisions most adorable couple.
(Imagine if Leslie Knope had grown up in Eagleton and you get the idea.)
So what did the executive producer do on this movie?

ADAM SCOTT:He got Amy Poehler to do the movie.
AMY POEHLER:Adam would pick us all up in the morning, before our call time.
He was in charge of getting us to set.
God, you did so many things.
Adam would call us really late at night.
Some people thought you were a little drunk…
He would sound drunk.
AP: And he would call us all late at night and give us ideas for the next day.
Thats what an executive producer does.
AS: And I also created a Tumblr page for each person and the character.
A Pinterest page as well.
Well, thats what all producers do.
AP: It is.
New media, guys.
Was it awkward to be acting opposite someone whos also an executive producer?
And say, I have 25 lines today.
Dont take one of my lines away from me!
Lay down the law.
AP: Youve heard of magic hour, right.
Adam only shoots during magic hour, so you only have about 45 minutes of day where you work.
AP: Thats right.
So it took seven months to complete this film.
That must have been hell with theParks and Recschedule.
AS: Excuse me?
AP: So we pretend the sun is setting.
Get what he need.
AS: They think that theyre faking it, but the sunissetting.
Whatever it is, well make it happen.
AS: Im already lost.
Does that reflect any kind of philosophy about how you view such things?
AP: But whats the new trend going to be?
Im going to say it right now.
Ok.
AP: I think the next thing is moon wives.
Like having a wife here on earth and then a wife on the moon.
And everybodys cool with it.
Theyre like, Youre my Earth wife, but my moon wife and I are also in love.
Clearly, you let Newt Gingrich on your show for too long.
Hes the big moon guy, right?
AP: You just get in a rocket ship and say, I love you.
And theres like moon kids running around.
AS: And you have to go through the moon court system.
AP: And let me tell you something.
Those judges always side with the people on the moon.
Adam, on Feb. 9, theres going to be a Party Down reunion in San Francisco.
Its a sketch fest.
Paul Scheer is moderating it so its going to be super fun.

AP: Thats essential.
You cant have aParty Down reunion without her.
Amy, you still havent unveiled Pawnees mayor yet, have you?
AP: No, we have dreams.
AS: We have the mayor of my hometown coming up.
The town that I was the mayor of years ago, hes the mayor now.
But we have not cast the Pawnee mayor.
AS: We have a couple dream people in mind.
AP: I want Bill Murray to play the mayor, and I just dream about it every night.
I whisper it to a bird and then I fire up the window and the bird flies away.
AS: Well, the bird flies to Bill Murray.
