After discussing a possible sequel with Singer, Warner Bros. decided to take a step back and reassess.

So whats the Zack Snyder vision for Superman?

Again, too early for him to say.

They are totally different characters, totally different worlds, says Snyder.

I wouldnt want to compare them at this point.

But he says hes long had a keen interest in Superman, especially as a cultural icon.

Ive followed Superman over the years, he says.

I think theres a real opportunity here.

Hes in the perfect place to do something.

Superman is right there.

And can I be any more cryptic?

Hes the king of the superheroes.
