ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: First off, give the update as to what youve been up to since appearing onSurvivor.
REYNOLD TOEPFER:I have been surviving the suburbs!
New spin-off show idea?!
What is your proudest moment ever from playingSurvivor?
That is my proudest moment, and I did not even get to see them!
What is your biggest regret from yourSurvivorexperience?
I regret the Fans (Gota) Tribe never really coming together.
A lot of that is my fault, and I could have done things differently.
That meant we had to band together and beat them in challenges, which requires a cohesive team.
My mind was blown by the conditions out there sometimes.
I knew the danger of infection and immediately had the stomach sinking feeling that it would end my game.
Shortly after I got voted out, it was like an elephant foot for quite some time.
How do you feel about the edit you got on the show?
I think everybody wants to appear awesome all the time, but that is just not the reality.
It became quite a life lesson in awareness for me.
What was it like coming back to regular society after being out there?
Was there culture shock or an adjustment coming back?
My return home was a complete shift in perspective that was overwhelmingly positive and is hard to explain.
For me, I found something out there in the quiet.
It inspired me to say yes to adventure and living fearlessly from the heart.
No regrets at all!
Whom do you still talk, text, or email with the most from your season?
Eddie, Cochran, and Malcolm.
We had an amazing time together and were able to raise a little bit of money for charity.
I keep in sporadic touch with those guys, usually just a funny text now and again.
I also had a great friendship with Cochran that did not really make the edit.
Do you still watchSurvivor, and if so, whats your favorite season you were not on and why?
It had all the elements to make an epic season, and it delivered on all fronts.
Well done, players.
Well done, production.
It left that lasting impact that can get us through this quarantine.
Whos one player from anotherSurvivorseason you wish you could have played with or against and why?
Oh, man, that is tough.
There are a lot of legends out there that would be fun to play with and against.
If I had to choose only one, probably Rob Cesternino.
If you could make one change to any aspect ofSurvivor, what would it be and why?
They keep everybody in the game, and there is always a chance.
However, there has to be some known limit.
Like, there is always one hidden immunity idol per beach, that is known.
you might calculate those odds.
Finally, would you play again if asked?
