Everybody comes in with their own baggage, their own issues and theyalwayssurface.
Nobody is the same.
You cant go, you know,Oh look what Jason did.
You dont plan for it, you dont script it because you cant.
When Jillian got voted off, there was a huge response, and thats normal.
I was thinking it would die away when everyone saw what was going to happen at the end.
But the response and support for Jillian never went away like it usually does with some of these girls.
Week after week, even toward the finale, people were still asking for Jillian to be the Bachelorette.
So we thought because shes this popular, we should bring in more men.

It think she had just gotten the grasp and then all of a sudden,theres five more guys.
Five more names to remember.
Five more storiesto get to know.
It was kind of a double-edged sword.
So the whole show is different from the first night on.
[Laughs]I set the over/under to Jillian at about seven or eight.
I waspleasantly surprised at how few guys went for the cheap, easy hot dogjoke or whatever.
There was only like two or three.
We figured about ten guys would even bring ketchup with them!Ohtotally!
I was expecting the worst.
Because heres the thing: guyssuck.
Were not very bright and were not really creative.
I assumedevery guy would get out of the limo and make a stupid hot dog joke.
Sounds like they were really trying to woo her!
Why do you think shes so likable?Shesso relatable.
Shes really pretty without being ridiculouslyover-the-top beautiful.
Shes normal, shes got a personality.
Shesgot a little bit of everything.
Also, shes vulnerable.
We saw thecircumstances with her mom last season and what shes overcome.
I thinkshes a self-made woman so theres a lot to respect.
Shes like thisperfect little package that I think everyones kind of fallen in lovewith.
Jason really took a lot out ofeverybody.
I came in that first night thinking, man,I dont know if I can do this again.
She just has that energy about her.
I dont want to make the show aboutthat.
Thats not whatThe Bachelorsever been.
It was a weird, freak deal.
