Surprise,The Good Fights world is still crazy seven days after the wacky funeral.
I just dont know whats going in the world right now.

She also lets slip that the prosecution has a surprise witness.
Judge Abernathy denies Colins motion for a continuance, so the trial moves forward.
Maia says thats a lie, but Amy believes it happened.
Needless to say, this creates a lot of tension between the lovers.
If only I cared!
The show hasnt spent too much time fleshing out their relationship, so all this just feels fine.
Its pretty clever stuff, but nothing we wouldnt expect from these lawyers.
(Next: Marissa does some P.I.
Fearing the trial not going her way, Maia enlists Marissa to track down Rosalie.
Its the bright spot in a perfectly fine episode.
Sarah Steele remainsThe Good Fights secret weapon.
Rosalies sister does her job, and Rosalie calls Maia on a burner cell.
Meanwhile, Colin hits Lucca and Maia with another surprise witness: Lenore Rindell, Maias mother.
Lenore told Maia that her father had a system in place to offset losses.
Its definitely fair to assume thats what Lenore is going to talk about in trial.
The fact that her mother finally stepped up to save her fills Maia with gratitude.
Thats a pretty depressing realization when you think of it.
While Lenore came to her daughters aid, the same cant be said of her father.
This shatters any remaining illusions Maia may have had about her father.
But thats fine because Maia was prepared for this.
Good riddance to bad rubbish!
