I actually dug the ending for reasons Ill explain below, but my fellow moviegoers loudly voiced their disapproval.
Were people merely disappointed that the movie didnt answer all of their questions?
That the conclusion wasnt wrapped up in a pretty little bow?

The film crew is spotted, and someone (did anyone make out who?)
Now, I appreciated this ending for a few reasons.
First, Im thankful that the film didnt feel the need to explain what we just witnessed.
And Im completely fine with that.
The last thingThe Last Exorcismneeded was a tacked-on denouement that tidied up the plot.
I left a satisfied customer.
But I imagine my theaters disgruntled moviegoers were longing for a more complete conclusion.
