Specifically, he doesnt like pitting art against entertainment.
Jordan doesnt love this.
I mean,ourshow is sci-fi, right?
Shes interrupted by a video chat from a woman named Anna, whos irate that Sophies been incommunicado.
Then he tells her to hit it one more time.
Your version, not the one by the demon.
Sure enough, the footage shows exactly that when Sophie reviews it.
About to learn what?
But her call breaks up and the lights flicker to reveal the blurry man again.
Then the liquor bottles start to fling themselves at her.
The screens flick off, and Blurryman is there.
You think its funny to scare people?
she asks, advancing on him.
Well, not quite alone.
Shes accompanied by a disembodied narrator voice, announcing that its crazy but its happening.
She tries to argue, but the voice warns her that she cant write her way out of this.
Sophie limps to the library set again, but this time its destroyed and covered in ash.
This isnt real, she whispers, yet Blurryman flings books at her.
Sophie plucks up her courage and tells Blurryman.
Im ready to see.
The camera circles her, and suddenly shes in black and white.
She knows the tropes; it doesnt matter what I do.
Blurryman reveals himself to be Rod Serling.
I take it I have your attention.
Theres a lot to explain, he says.
Then he ushers her through a long series of doors and into a whole new dimension.
Its not the end of the story, but a new beginning as she enters … the Twilight Zone.
