The new shows for the broadcast networks have been announced, and there comes off as all kinds of nostalgia awaiting us this fall.
Theres nostalgia for the bygone days of aviation (ABCsPan Am), nostalgia for the bygone days of classy erotica (NBCsThe Playboy Club), nostalgia for the bygone days of 70s-era jiggle TV (ABCsCharlies Angels), nostalgia for the bygone days of snarky British judges on singing competition shows (FoxsThe X Factor), and nostalgia for the bygone days of Sarah Michelle Gellar appearing every week on our televisions (The CWsThe Ringer).
But theres also plenty of (relatively) newfangled shows heading our way as well, like the Rachel Bilson fish-out-of-water comedyHart of Dixie(The CW), the J.J. Abrams techno-thrillerPerson of Interest(CBS), the Steven Spielberg epic sci-fi seriesTerra Nova(Fox), and the mis-matched-girls-striving-in-the-big-city sitcom2 Broke Girls(CBS).
